New Project Collective

What is it:

Every Friday this April, 15 people will meet in person to work on new projects of their choosing.

The last Friday in April will be a public showcase of their projects.

Location:

Ur Fancy Shop 219 Irving Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11237

Provided Equipment:

• Seats

• Desks

• Table

Rules:

• BYOB

• Clean up after yourself, don’t leave a mess.

• You must bring your work home with you at the end of each night; Storage is not provided.

• Sewing equipment is off limits. Contact UR Fancy directly if you’re interested in using their space for sewing projects.

• You are not required to attend every week, but you'll enjoy the process if you do.

The space is suited for:

• Projects you can make with a laptop.

• Projects you can make with paper.

• Projects you can make with art supplies that don’t take up large amounts of space or make a huge mess.

The space is not suited for:

• Performance projects

• Sloppy, wet projects

• Bulky, sprawling projects

Collective Hours:

Friday April 5 | 6 PM - 9:30 PM

Friday April 12 | 6 PM - 9:30 PM

Friday April 19 | 6 PM - 9:30 PM

Note: You are welcome to work on your project outside these hours

Project Showcase:

Friday April 26 | 5 PM - 7 PM

Total Cost:

$20 | Due March 29. All money goes to UR Fancy Shop for the use of their space.
